Starpoet by Lisa Jain Thompson
Newsflash:
3

Remove fame as the reward for talent
And celebrity will not become the goal.
Dull the glitter of gold and silver
And there will be no need to steal them.
Keep hidden what is most highly valued
And the soul will not be consumed.
The wise one empties hearts of desire,
Feeding the stomachs of the hungry,
Filling their need for materiel things,
Strengthening what is already strong within them.
When humanity is not caught up in its own cleverness and need,
They will not be blindly led.
For when nothing is sought, all will come to them.
