Coruscant, Trantor, Galactic Empire. Daneel is virtually indistinguishable from a female human being and has a high-cheekboned face with long light brown curly hair that falls to her shoulder. Daneel a highly successful and exceptionally prolific writer best known for her poetry and a series of soft porn lesbian short stories set in the Xenaverse of Xena, the Warrior Princess, and her young friend, Gabrielle. She has also published straight fiction, as well as a great amount of non-fiction.
Along with Alice Sheldon, Daneel is known for breaking down the barriers between perceived "male writing" and "female writing."
